Uptick Health was founded on a simple premise: independent practices are the backbone of quality healthcare, and they deserve a management partner that treats them that way.
We started with revenue cycle management and built a reputation for doing it exceptionally well. Today, we offer a full suite of management services, from fractional C-suite leadership to HR support, because the practices we serve told us they needed more, and we listened.

Leah thrives on data analysis and is deeply committed to empowering independent medical practices to flourish. With nearly 15 years of experience closely collaborating with physicians, she has witnessed firsthand the positive impact practices can have as both employers and caretakers of their communities.
As the driving force behind day-to-day operations, staff management, and vendor relationships at Uptick Health, Leah is dedicated to leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and engagement. She specializes in uncovering key insights within performance data to help practice leaders determine strategic directions and drive targeted efficiencies.
Leah is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives and has held leadership roles within NCMGMA, including Student Outreach Liaison, Medicaid Committee Chair, and Board Secretary. She holds dual degrees in Political Science and Communications from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
Jennifer's expertise lies in creative yet pragmatic problem solving and healthcare business strategy. At Uptick Health, she is responsible for managing the company's financial and administrative functions and client relationships. Her mission to help independent medical practices stay independent comes from her extensive experience as an administrator for a private dermatology practice.
Jennifer recognizes that organizational growth is collaborative, and success is built on lasting relationships. She brings a fresh perspective to healthcare business management to find creative solutions to prevalent problems, and is committed to client communication. She is only happy when their needs are met.
Awarded Medical Practice Executive of the Year in 2019, Jennifer is an active member of MGMA and has served on the executive board of the South Carolina Medical Group Management Association. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the College of Charleston and her MBA from The Citadel.
